January 2006.

Immediately following the AGM we held our monthly meeting.
Our French friends are visiting in May this year, arriving on Thursday evening 25thMay. We believe they intend visiting Bath on the Friday, and we are organising a dinner and dance in the evening. This was done mainly to allow
everyone to be able to have a full day with their friends on the Saturday, although there may well be a Band Concert
on the Saturday evening for those who wish to attend. As
far as we know at this stage, the French will be leaving
around 9.30 a.m. on the Sunday morning.
Following the meeting we enjoyed the customary wine and
cheese. The George Hotel provided an excellent selection
of wines and cheeses, biscuits and different types of bread, with grapes and celery.
